Physical - Ability to safely handle, lift, and set up production equipment (cameras, lights, stands), with the stamina required for active, on-location documentary or commercial shoots. Languages - Fluent in English and Malay for seamless communication and accurate text overlays, with the ability to translate and subtitle local dialogue and slang effectively. Qualifications / Training - Advanced, proven proficiency in DaVinci Resolve for video and audio editing, with formal training or certifications in film production, audio engineering, or motion graphics considered an advantage. Work Experience - Demonstrated portfolio showcasing editing, sound design, and light VFX work, with prior on-set experience as a production assistant, B-cam operator, or photographer. Disposition - Demonstrates strong work ethics, accountability, and teamwork in leading content execution, with high adaptability, problem-solving ability, and openness to constructive creative feedback. Others - Possesses reliable transportation for varied local shoot locations, along with a strong eye for current social media trends and pacing formats.
Job Summary: Edit high-quality videos in DaVinci Resolve, handle VFX and audio, and assist on set to elevate our commercial and documentary projects, ensuring consistent output and strict deadline management. Key Responsibility: 1. Video Post-Production - Edit videos in DaVinci Resolve, maintaining consistent output of up to two videos per week. 2. Quality Optimization - Improve pace, subtitles, and storytelling to maximize overall engagement. 3. On-Set Assistance / Production Support - Provide crucial hands-on support for second camera, lighting, sound, or minor photography duties. 4. Deadline Management - Deliver campaign assets on time, maintaining fast edit templates for urgent promo posts. 5. Brand Alignment - Ensure content follows brand direction with minimal revisions and maintain 100% timely communication.
