Requirements:

Physical - Office-based with frequent travel, comfortable attending field visits, community events, and external meetings as required. Languages - Fluent in English and Malay (written and spoken), with proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage. Qualifications / Training - HND or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with certification or exposure in PR, CSR, stakeholder engagement, media relations, or event coordination as an advantage. Work Experience - Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, CSR, stakeholder coordination, sponsorship, or related roles, including handling internal and external coordination across multiple parties, preparing communication materials, reports, and formal correspondence, coordinating events, partnerships, or projects, and preferably with exposure to working with media, NGOs, government agencies, vendors, or corporate partners, supporting sponsorship or CSR initiatives, and preparing briefing notes, meeting minutes, and formal communication materials. Disposition - SStrong sense of responsibility and follow-through, proactive and able to take initiative, organized and detail-oriented, with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, reliable, professional, and adaptable under pressure, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, confident in handling follow-ups and stakeholder communication, calm and dependable during busy periods, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to anticipate needs. Others - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong documentation, filing, and record-keeping skills, able to prepare trackers, summaries, and basic reports accurately, comfortable working cross-functionally with internal and external parties, and preferably familiar with corporate reporting and communication processes, coordination tools, shared folders, and possessing good presentation and formatting skills for internal documents and reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: To support the Brand & Communications Lead in executing the company’s communications activities across public relations, sponsorship, CSR, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, event communication, and corporate messaging. The role is responsible for managing assigned communication matters, ensuring proper coordination and follow-through, and supporting smooth execution of day-to-day communications deliverables. This position requires a proactive and reliable individual who can work independently on assigned tasks and maintain continuity across ongoing matters. Key Responsibilities: 1. Public Relations & Media Coordination - Draft and coordinate press releases, media responses, communication materials, and related correspondence for review and approval. Support media liaison and ensure timely response to communication-related matters. 2. Sponsorship Coordination - Coordinate sponsorship-related matters, including partner communication, documentation, follow-up, deliverables tracking, and support for execution and reporting. 3. CSR Coordination - Support the planning and implementation of CSR-related activities by coordinating with internal teams, partners, community stakeholders, and relevant authorities where required. 4. Stakeholder Communication - Manage day-to-day communication and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders on assigned matters. Ensure timelines, approvals, updates, and responses are properly monitored and completed. 5. Event Communication Support - Support communication requirements for events, launches, visits, activations, and community engagements, including briefing points, speaking notes, attendance coordination, event updates, and post-event follow-up. 6. Internal Communications - Prepare and coordinate internal communication materials, announcements, updates, and messaging to support staff awareness and alignment. 7. Documentation and Record Management - Maintain organised records of communication materials, approvals, sponsorship documents, reports, contact lists, trackers, and related files to ensure proper reference and accountability. 8. Reporting and Tracking - Prepare communication updates, summaries, trackers, and reports for the Lead and Management. Monitor progress of ongoing tasks and highlight outstanding matters for action. 9. Coordination and Continuity Support - Provide dependable support to the Brand & Communications Lead by assisting with reminders, timelines, meeting coordination, follow-up, and continuity of ongoing tasks, especially when the Lead is unavailable. 10. General Communication Support - Undertake other communication-related coordination and support tasks as assigned by the Lead or Management.
