Job Summary/Purpose: Responsible for managing field-based collections by visiting customers at their residences or places of business. Ensures effective recovery of overdue payments while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and compliance with company policies. Field Collector plans visits strategically and manages customer interactions to achieve collection targets. Key Responsiblilties: 1. Customer Visits & Payment Collection Conduct scheduled visits to customers to collect outstanding debts; explain repayment options and debt obligations clearly. 2. Customer Service & Communication Maintain respectful and empathetic interactions; handle inquiries and disputes professionally. 3. Negotiation & Repayment Plans Negotiate feasible repayment plans or settlements balancing the debtor’s capacity and company interests. 4. Documentation & Reporting Record all customer visits, payments collected, and agreements; submit reports to supervisors daily or weekly. 5. Conflict & Dispute Management Resolve disputes regarding payments or repossession with tact, empathy, and professionalism. 6. Scheduling & Time Management Plan and prioritize customer visits to maximize productivity and successful collection outcomes. 7. Compliance & Company Policy Adherence Follow company policies, SOPs, and legal requirements during all collection activities.
